Many businesses need Windows programs that don't run in the browser – from accounting to industry software. Instead of running your own server in the office, rent a Windows server in the data centre and access it from anywhere via Remote Desktop.
Remote Desktop (RDP)
Connect to your server from a PC, Mac, tablet or smartphone – your programs and data are available everywhere.
Hosted in Vienna
In the certified Digital Realty data centre in Vienna, with Austrian IP addresses and short routes to your staff.
NVMe & 10 Gbit
Fast NVMe SSDs and a 10 Gbit uplink make sure even data-intensive programs run smoothly.
Safer than the office
Redundant power, DDoS protection and backups on request – much safer than the server under the desk.

More staff, more programs? The server can be expanded with more CPU cores, RAM and storage at any time.

Windows VPS or Windows on dedicated hardware?
For individual programs and smaller teams a Windows VPS is ideal: deployed fast, affordable and scalable at any time. If many people work on the server at the same time – for example as a terminal server for the whole office – or you need a lot of memory, a dedicated server with Windows Server is the better choice. We are happy to advise which size suits your software and number of users.
Moving your existing server
Already have a server in the office? We move your programs, databases and users to the new server – planned and with as little interruption as possible. If needed, we coordinate directly with your software vendor. As an IT service provider we also look after your server in ongoing operation.
Windows server FAQ
What is an RDP server?
A Windows server that you access via the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP). You see the server's desktop on your device and work as if you were sitting in front of it – but the programs run in the data centre.
How secure is access via RDP?
We recommend not exposing RDP openly to the internet, but securing access via a VPN, firewall rules for your locations or a Remote Desktop Gateway. We are happy to set this up for you.
Where is my Windows server located?
On request in Vienna, in the certified Digital Realty data centre – your data stays in Austria. More under data centres & certifications.
How quickly is the server ready?
A Windows VPS is usually ready within 15 minutes of payment. We plan larger configurations and migrations together with you.
