A VPS (Virtual Private Server) is the ideal middle ground between web hosting and your own hardware: you get a dedicated, isolated server with guaranteed resources – at a fraction of the cost of a dedicated server.
Deployed fast
Once payment is received, your VPS is usually online within 15 minutes – with the operating system of your choice.
NVMe performance
Fast NVMe SSDs, current high-performance CPUs and a 10 Gbit uplink mean short load times and snappy databases.
Scalable at any time
Need more CPU cores, RAM or storage? Simply switch to a larger plan – or we put together a custom configuration for you.
DDoS protection included
Your server is protected against overload attacks. Firewall rules can also be managed directly in the customer interface.
Full root access
You are in full control: your own software, your own configuration, a KVM console for emergencies. Or let us handle the administration.
Personal support
No anonymous call centre: our team near Vienna helps with setup, migration and problems – in German and English.

Management
Linux VPS or Windows VPS?
A Linux VPS is the first choice for websites, web applications, databases and almost all open-source software. It is lightweight and cheaper because there are no licence fees. You need a Windows VPS if you want to run Windows programs – such as ERP or accounting software, or a remote desktop workstation for your team. The Windows licence is already included in our Windows plans.
VPS located in Austria and Germany
Your data stays in Europe: our virtual servers run in professional data centres in Austria and Germany. That means low latency for visitors from the DACH region and full GDPR compliance – a strong argument compared to large US cloud providers. More about our locations: servers in Vienna, Frankfurt and Berlin.
Unmanaged or managed VPS
By default you manage your VPS yourself (unmanaged). If you don't want to deal with updates, security and backups, we take care of it as a managed VPS: setup, updates, monitoring and help in an emergency. Our guide Managed or unmanaged server? explains which option suits you.
VPS or a dedicated server?
A VPS is more than enough for the vast majority of projects. If you need consistently high load, lots of memory or guaranteed hardware, a dedicated server is the better choice. See the detailed comparison in our guide VPS or dedicated server?
VPS FAQ
What is a VPS?
A VPS (Virtual Private Server) is a virtual server that runs on powerful hardware shared with other virtual servers. Thanks to virtualisation it is fully isolated, with its own guaranteed resources (CPU, RAM, storage) and its own root access.
How quickly is my VPS ready?
Usually within 15 minutes of payment. We set up special requests such as a custom operating system by arrangement.
Can I upgrade my VPS later?
Yes. You can switch to a larger or smaller plan at any time. If no plan fits, we put together a custom configuration for you.
Are backups included?
You can book backups as an add-on or set them up yourself. Without a booked backup you are responsible for backing up your data – we are happy to advise you on a suitable backup strategy.
How can I pay?
Our hosting contracts are prepaid – you pay in advance and enter no long-term commitment. Payment methods include credit card, PayPal, instant bank transfer, Paysafecard and cryptocurrencies.
Do you handle the migration from my current provider?
Yes. We move your websites, databases and applications to the new VPS on request – with as little downtime as possible.
